It was a long haul, but we're safely in Nanning and relaxing in our very nice hotel room at the Majestic. We all made the trip just fine, and our only little hiccup was a very long hike through the airport at Guangzhou. We meet our Holt guide this afternoon to find out what time tomorrow we will be meeting Jacey. :)
The weather is absolutely gorgeous and we plan to venture out in a bit (after I lay with my swollen feet up for little while!) and see all that there is to do around here. This area is very beautiful, lush and green with gorgeous tropical flowers and trees everywhere. We'll try and get some good pics to post later.
We met up with several other families on our flight that will be staying here at the Majestic, so we are looking forward to getting to meet their girls as well. Ironically, one of the couples actually recognized us from our first trip in 2004, they were in Beijing and Guangzhou at the same time we were and are now back adopting an 11 month old little girl. Small world, huh?
Well, that's it for now, gotta go get these feet back up!
